Privacy, without fine print

Effective 28 August 2026. Bike Service Timeline is local-first. Bikes, components, service entries, mileage, notes, and attachments are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB on your device. We do not receive, sync, profile, or sell that data.

Exports and deletion

JSON and CSV exports are created inside your browser and downloaded directly to your device. You control where those files go. Delete individual records in the app, remove the site’s stored data in browser settings, or uninstall the PWA to remove local data. Uninstalling alone may not clear browser storage on every platform, so use browser site-data controls when a complete local deletion matters.

Licenses and payment

If you buy Workshop Pass, checkout happens on Sociobot’s hosted billing service, with Dodo as merchant of record. This app receives and stores a license token in localStorage and sends it to Sociobot at most once per day to check whether the license is valid. Card details never enter this app. Sociobot and Dodo process purchase details under their own notices and legal obligations.

Network use

The app loads no third-party fonts, advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts. After installation, the app shell and your records work offline. A network request occurs when the app checks for an update or verifies a saved license.

Your responsibility

Local-first storage means we cannot recover lost records. Download periodic JSON backups, especially before clearing browser data or changing devices.
